Υποβολή αίτησης αφερεγγυότητας γνωστοποίησε μέσω ανακοίνωσής του πριν από λίγα λεπτά ο όμιλος FTI.
Οι πληροφορίες αναφέρουν ότι ο κορυφαίος ευρωπαϊκός tour operator οδηγήθηκε σε ένα ιδιότυπο bras de fer με αντιμαχόμενους από την μία πλευρά την ιδιοκτησία και από την άλλη πλευρά τις δημόσιες αρχές και διακύβευμα το hair cut των κρατικών ενισχύσεων που έχει εισπράξει για την περίοδο Covid, προκειμένου να συνεχίσει την λειτουργία του.
Σύμφωνα με πληροφορίες ο tour operator έχει εξοφλήσει το σύνολο σχεδόν των οφειλών του στα ελληνικά ξενοδοχεία, που ήταν αρκετές, με μοναδική εξαίρεση κάποια ξενοδοχεία της Κρήτης, που έχουν λαμβάνειν ακόμη…
Σύμφωνα με την ανακοίνωση:
– Η FTI Touristik GmbH υποβάλλει αίτηση αφερεγγυότητας τη Δευτέρα, 3 Ιουνίου 2024
– Άλλες εταιρείες του ομίλου θα καταθέσουν επίσης αίτηση αφερεγγυότητας τις επόμενες ημέρες
– Ο ΟΜΙΛΟΣ FTI GROUP δεν περιλαμβάνει το τηλεοπτικό κανάλι sonnenklar.TV και την TVG με τα γερμανικά ταξιδιωτικά γραφεία franchise, τα οποία λειτουργούν υπό τις επωνυμίες sonnenklar.TV, 5vorFlug και Flugbörse
– Για όλους τους πελάτες του ομίλου ταξιδιωτικών πρακτόρων έχει δημιουργηθεί μια τηλεφωνική γραμμή υποστήριξης για άμεση επικοινωνία και ένας δικτυακός τόπος με συχνές ερωτήσεις.
Πιο αναλυτικά, η FTI Touristik GmbH, η μητρική εταιρεία του ΟΜΙΛΟΥ FTI GROUP ως ο τρίτος μεγαλύτερος tour operator στην Ευρώπη, θα καταθέσει αίτηση για την έναρξη διαδικασίας αφερεγγυότητας στο τοπικό δικαστήριο του Μονάχου τη Δευτέρα, 3 Ιουνίου 2024. Αρχικά, μόνο το εμπορικό σήμα του ταξιδιωτικού πράκτορα FTI Touristik επηρεάζεται άμεσα από αυτό. Στη συνέχεια, ωστόσο, θα κατατεθούν αντίστοιχες αιτήσεις και για άλλες εταιρείες του ομίλου. Η Windrose Finest Travel GmbH με το πολυτελές εμπορικό σήμα WINDROSE θα συνεχίσει τις δραστηριότητές της.
Οι ανεξάρτητες εταιρείες Euvia GmbH και το κανάλι ταξιδιωτικών αγορών sonnenklar.TV καθώς και το σύστημα franchise της Touristik Vertriebsgesellschaft mbH (TVG) με τα εμπορικά σήματα sonnenklar.TV Reisebüros, 5vorFlug Reisebüros και Flugbörse δεν ανήκουν στον ΟΜΙΛΟ FTI.
Όπως είναι γνωστό μετά από μια μακρά και πολύπλοκη διαδικασία επενδυτών, η είσοδος μιας κοινοπραξίας επενδυτών ανακοινώθηκε τον Απρίλιο του 2024. Έκτοτε, ωστόσο, οι αριθμοί των κρατήσεων υπολείπονται κατά πολύ των προσδοκιών παρά τα θετικά νέα. Επιπλέον, πολυάριθμοι προμηθευτές έχουν επιμείνει στην προκαταβολή. Ως αποτέλεσμα, υπήρξε αυξημένη ανάγκη για ρευστότητα, η οποία δεν μπορούσε πλέον να γεφυρωθεί μέχρι την ολοκλήρωση της διαδικασίας των επενδυτών. Έχει ήδη δημιουργηθεί ένας δικτυακός τόπος υποστήριξης στη διεύθυνση www.fti-group.com/en/insolvency καθώς και μια τηλεφωνική γραμμή υποστήριξης στον αριθμό +49 (0) 89 / 710 45 14 98. Όλες οι σχετικές πληροφορίες είναι προσβάσιμες εδώ, ενώ υπάρχουν γερμανο- και αγγλόφωνοι υπεύθυνοι επικοινωνίας για μεμονωμένες ερωτήσεις. Εκτός από την πλήρη εστίαση στην υποστήριξη των πελατών, η FTI GROUP θα ενημερώνει επίσης τακτικά τους επισκέπτες της μαζί με το Γερμανικό Ταμείο Ταξιδιωτικής Ασφάλειας (DRSF).
Προς το παρόν εργαζόμαστε σκληρά για να διασφαλίσουμε ότι τα ταξίδια που έχουν ήδη ξεκινήσει μπορούν να ολοκληρωθούν όπως είχαν προγραμματιστεί. Σε συνεργασία με τον (προσωρινό) διαχειριστή αφερεγγυότητας που δεν έχει ακόμη διοριστεί, θα αναπτυχθεί τις επόμενες ημέρες μια ιδέα για τη συνεχή ενημέρωση των πληγέντων ταξιδιωτών και την επιχειρησιακή εφαρμογή των αναγκαίων μέτρων”.

Which providers and brands are affected?
In general, all services booked with the travel provider FTI Touristik GmbH are affected. This includes the FTI brands in Germany, Austria and the Netherlands, the 5vorFlug brand in Germany, BigXtra GmbH, and the car hire brands DriveFTI and Cars and Campers. The affected services could be booked in retail travel agencies, on online booking platforms such as Sonnenklar.tv, Check24, Ab-In-den-Urlaub, HolidayCheck, etc. or on our own booking platforms (fti.de, fti.at, fti.ch, fti.nl, 5vorflug.de, drive.de, …).
Services booked with third-party providers (e.g. TUI, Alltours, DERTOUR, vtours, …) are not affected, as FTI Touristik GmbH has only acted as an intermediary.
You have booked a package holiday and you are already travelling?
(Note: a package holiday is a combination of hotel accommodation and flight, possibly with additional booked services)
Have you booked a package holiday through the tour operators FTI, 5vorFlug, or BigXtra and are currently in or on your way to your destination? In your case, the statutory insurance cover provided by the German Travel Security Fund (“Deutscher Reisesicherungsfonds” – DRSF) applies. In cooperation with the DRSF, we will endeavour to allow you to complete your trip as planned. Where this is not possible, a return journey to the original departure point will be organized for you. In this case, you will be contacted directly in coordination with service providers of the DRSF. Information about this can also be found on the DRSF website (currently in German only).
Have you booked a trip with a travel provider not belonging to the FTI GROUP (e.g. TUI, Alltours, DERTOUR, vtours, …), e.g. on the websites www.fti.de, www.fti.at, www.fti.ch, www.5vorflug.de or www.sonnenklar.tv? You have only booked hotel room nights and are already travelling and/or checked in?
Have you only booked hotel services via the tour operators FTI or 5vorFlug and made payments directly to the respective tour operator? Unfortunately, individual services do not fall under the statutory insurance protection for package tours and are therefore not covered by the DRSF. However, regardless of whether you have already checked in or are still en route, we are currently evaluating whether you can (continue to) make use of the services you have booked.
Have you booked hotel services with a travel provider that is not part of the FTI GROUP (e.g. TUI, Alltours, DERTOUR, vtours, …) and paid for them directly? You are not affected by the insolvency proceedings. Please approach your travel provider in case of further questions.
You have booked a package holiday and have not yet departed?

Have you booked a package holiday via the tour operators FTI, 5vorFlug, or BigXtra and already paid for it in part or in full? Unfortunately, we are legally bound to cancel all booked services. However, the insurance cover provided by the German Travel Security Fund (“Deutscher Reisesicherungsfonds” – DRSF) will apply in your case. From now on, you can submit your claim for reimbursement via the DRSF online portal (currently available in German, only). After confirming your eligibility, you will receive a full refund of your deposit from the DRSF.
